The Silent Airshow is will be taking place Sunday Sept. 19th at Ed Levin Park in Milpitas, CA. (8am - 3pm)

Friday the 17th thru Sunday the 19th from 8am to 9am will be the the three heats of the Speed Gliding competition.

Saturday the 18th, at 8:30am will be the Hike & Huck paraglider competition.

Sunday, will be the big day, with specially dedicated non-powered flying presentations by pilots flying hang gliders, paragliders, and sailplanes. This will include aerobatics, spot landing contests, synchronized flying, aerial ballet and candy drops for the kids.

Additionally, there will be presentaions of RC gliders, Hot Air Balloons, and raffled off tandem hang glider and paraglider flights.

There are two goals of the Silent Airshow. The primary one is to awaken an awareness and appreciation of foot launched flight with the hope that some of the spectators will take it up in the future.

The second goal of the event is to give all the net-profits to the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association). Obviously a sizable donation is preferable but inorder to encourage as many people to come to the event the entrance fee to the show has been kept to an inexpensive fee of $10.00/car & $2/person. Much less costly than other local sport or concert events, especially since this is a very unique and rare show. So invite as many friends and enjoy the adventure of foot launched flight at its best.
